For Patient Experience Week, AHRQ recognizes quality improvement teams who use Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) Surveys to ensure their organizations are meeting the needs of their patients. A new video - “Six Ways to Use CAHPS Survey Results to Improve Patient Experience” - shows how the results of CAHPS® surveys can:

  • Identify strengths and weaknesses in the health care organization’s performance,
  • Determine where to focus improvement efforts, and
  • Track progress over time.
