Performance Scores for 2017 Claims Data Available on QPP Website

Clinicians who are participating in the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) can now view performance scores for 2017 claims data. MIPS, which is one pathway for participation in the Quality Payment Program (QPP), began measuring performance in 2017 based on four categories: Quality, Cost, Improvement Activities, and Advancing Care Information. If you submitted 2017 Quality performance data for MIPS via claims, you’ll now be able to view your performance scores through the MIPS data submission feature. If you plan to submit 2017 data for the Quality performance category via claims, you must do so by March 1.
