Sepsis Core Measure to be Included in CMS Hospital Compare July Data Update

CMS will publicly report hospitals’ performance on the Sepsis Core Measure beginning with the next Hospital Compare release in July 2018. CMS will release hospitals’ sepsis performance July 25, based on data from the first quarter of 2017 through the third quarter of 2017. By October 2018, the first full year of sepsis data will be available for 2017.
