I used tableau to compare average min wage or less for a selected state and compared it to all the other states. There is a parameter which allow you to select a state and filter which allows you to select a year or multiple years for an average.

Attached is the file I created for NY counties, using the U.S. file as a template.
The hexmap is pretty cool. I will try to use it for a project in my course work. Lets see!
